  17. <p>    "I don't have a system," explains Sister Marie Louise, 89,
  18. a Washington nun who has won national attention by her
  19. uncannily accurate picks of the winners of National Football
  20. League games. "I read the newspapers. If I get a hunch, I stick
  21. with it. Of course, I do pray and ask the Holy Spirit for help."
  22. That seems to work divinely. On a local TV program that asks
  23. guests for N.F.L. predictions, the Visitation nun, who once
  24. played basketball and baseball, has so far bested the secular
  25. guessers. Along with the mother superior, a fellow football fan,
  26. the sister follows the sport on the convent TV. Has she made a
  27. pick for the Super Bowl? Only heaven knows.
